What is Riomesh?

Riomesh is a LoRa-based mesh radio platform designed for industrial remote I/O: valve switching, sensor telemetry, and monitoring - with zero dependency on cellular networks. Built for the real world: agriculture, mining, power distribution, and anywhere you need reliable communication where traditional infrastructure doesn't reach.

This Field Day is your chance to see it in action across some of the most challenging terrain Queensland has to offer.

About the Event

Off-Grid on K'gari

No cellular reception. No Wi-Fi. Just you, 14 other industry professionals, and a fleet of LoRa mesh radios on one of the world's largest sand islands.

Strictly Limited to 15

Small group, big experience. Every attendee gets hands-on time with the equipment and direct access to the GTAC engineering team.

Your Radio, Your Event

Each attendee receives a Riomesh radio to use for the full 3 days. Test it, break it, learn it - that's the point.

4WD Access Required

High-clearance 4WD is required on K'gari. Observe all road rules, ranger postings, and local council advice. All roads are sand or unsealed tracks.
